Ikaaġun

00:00 / 00:03

Ikaaġun is the Iñupiat word for bridge, or "something used for going across."

Cross-cultural communication and relationship-building is challenging.

Ikaaġun Engagement is here to help.

 ENGAGEMENT with INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES

All visitors to rural Arctic communities should carefully plan and prepare for their engagement experience.  In 2021, Arctic researchers and rural educators are required to make meaningful efforts to properly engage with Indigenous individuals, communities, and entities.
